Originally in G major, transposed here to C. This is the sixth and last of the "Schübler Chorales." Title means: "Come now, Jesus, from heaven down here." An earlier version—an aria from Cantata 137 for alto violin and continuo—was also consulted for this transcription. A page of explanatory notes is included.
